Be The Broccoli !

If I can find 100 people who don't like broccoli, does that mean broccoli tastes bad? Of course not, it is simply a reflection of the people I have selected, not a reflection of broccoli. The broccoli is what it is, it does not matter whose opinion I seek out. The broccoli does not care what people think about it.

Let’s apply this to people, shall we? Whatever a given person may think of You, it is a reflection of who THAT person is, a reflection of that person’s worldview. It is not a reflection of who YOU are. Do not concern yourself with what other people think of you. Be who you want to be. Be the broccoli!

Consider this: Some people like you, some people do not. What is the difference between the people that like you, and those that do not? You are the same in both cases, so it MUST be the people that are different.

I am who I am, and nobody else can decide who I am. Nobody else can decide if I am worth liking, I decide if I am worth liking.
